After graduating from Ripon High School, Albert J. Nunes went to work for his father and uncle hauling milk.  From behind the wheel of a 1966 Freightliner, he worked part time to help support himself while attending Modesto Junior College.

In 1970, after marrying Carol Dias, he decided to start his own company. One year later, AC Trucking began with a single truck, hauling milk from central valley dairies, to local creameries.

After 15 years of business, A.C.T had the opportunity to leave the dairy industry and venture into the General Freight Buisness. Starting with one customer his operation soon expanded to over 100 customers in a short time.

Today, AC Trucking services a client base that encompasses all of California and seven other western states.  In addition, they provide intermodal drayage throughout northern California intermodal ramps.

Now, after more than 37 years in business, AC Trucking is looking forward to health and prosperity with their loyal customers and dedicated employees for another 30 years...
